Cristèle Alves Meira

Trained as an actress, Cristèle Alves Meira began her career as a theater director. She directed a couple of documentary shorts before making her first forays into fiction shorts in Portugal: Sol branco, then Campo de víboras, selected at the Cannes Critics’ Week. Alma viva is her first feature film.
