Sven Pape

Sven is a MFA graduate from the American Film Institute. His thesis film THE WATER GHOST sold to Lifetime TV and received the 1999 Producer's Guild Award.
Born and raised in Germany he studied film at the University of Arts in Berlin (diploma) and received a scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service to continue his studies in Los Angeles.
As a teenager, Sven spent almost three years in South Africa, where he first discovered his passion for filmmaking interning under South African filmmaker Peter Gird. With Sven's film AFRICAN SHADOW MAN he hopes to return to South Africa to shoot an epic love story.
