Biografie

Lauryn is originally from Dallas where her passion for the arts was birthed and at a young age she began performing in classic plays such as The Bad Seed and The Wizard of Oz. Lauryn went on to get her BFA from Howard University in DC.

While in DC Lauryn performed in the plays Angels in America and the East Coast premiere of Moon Bitch. In addition, Lauryn studied over seas at The British American Drama Academy for a year where she studied with Alan Rickman, Jane Lapotaire, Derek Jacobi, and Fiona Shaw. Lauryn received her MFA from California Institute of the Arts, where she performed in The Overwhelming directed by Ron Cephas Jones and In the Blood directed by Fran Bennett.

Lauryn's off-Broadway credit includes the World Premiere of Medea produced by UCLA Live and Starring Annett Bening. Lastly, she has been a Company Actor for the 104 Centquatre, the largest arts movement in Paris, France. Lauryn has extensive training in voice, speech, and Shakespeare.
