Biografie (2)
He was born in Tunisia in 1960, and moved to Nice when he was six. He studied theatre at the Antibes Conservatory, and worked as an actor and stage director. After several roles in cinema with directors such as Techiné and Bouzid, he made his debut as director in 2000 with Poetical Refuge. With his next film, Games of Love and Chance (2003), he jumped to the international scene and won the César awards for Best Director and Best Film. The Secret of the Grain (2007)… (mehr)
