Severin Fiala

Severin Fiala studied directing and screenwriting at the Film Academy Vienna. Former film journalist, assistant director and casting director, Veronika Franz worked as a scriptwriter and artistic collaborator with Austrian director Ulrich Seidl since the beginning of his career in 1997. In 2014, Severin Fiala co-directed with Veronika Franz the first feature film Goodnight Mommy, which won the following year the Youth Jury Award and the SYFY Jury Prize at Gerardmer Festival.
