Eric Montchaud is a French animator and director. He graduated from the La Poudrière school of animation in Valence. His graduation film The Smell of Wet Dog (L'odeur du chien mouillé, 2003) was successful at a number of festivals. The artist has worked primarily making advertising animation. He's also collaborated on films by director Michel Gondry. His latest animated film is the short Anatole's Little Saucepan (La petite casserole d'Anatole, 2014), which was based on the book of the same name by Isabelle Carrier.
