Fernando Guzzoni is a film director, screenwriter and producer. At the age of 22, he directed the feature film La Colorina (2008), based on the poet Stella Díaz Varín, which premiered at the Montreal Festival Des Films Du Monde (Canada). That same year, the film won the award for Best Film at the Trieste Film Festival (Italy) and the award for Best Director at the the Chilean Forum in Sanfic. In 2012, he directed the feature film Carne de Perro, presented at the San Sebastián International Film Festival, which gained international recognition by winning the Kutxa Award in the New Directors category. In 2016, he premiered his third feature film, Jesús, at the Toronto Film Festival and at the San Sebastian Film Festival official competition. He has won numerous awards, including for Best Actor at the Torino Film Festival.
