Biografie

After beginning her career in commercials, Emma, attended her first film and television audition with an open call for a new feature film for Sony, through her audition she booked a lead role in Neill Blomkamp’s critically acclaimed film, Elysium opposite Matt Damon and Jodie Foster. Shortly after filming Elysium, Emma snagged another lead role playing Robert Downey Jr.’s daughter in the Oscar nominated film, The Judge. During filming of this film she also found out she had booked another role in The Weinstein Company’s The Giver opposite Meryl Streep and Jeff Bridges which named her to Variety’s “Up Next” Stars Under 21 to Watch in 2014.

Following the success of her feature films, Emma was seen in a heavily recurring role on the hit CW show, Supergirl. She is also known for her recurring role on the second season of FOX’s critically acclaimed Wayward Pines and was seen on the FX series, Loudermilk for Peter Farrelly and in Stephen Chbosky’s Wonder for Lionsgate. She was also seen opposite Henry Cavill and Alexandra Daddario in the feature film Nomis. Emma stars as the lead in the Lifetime film, Caught in His Web, which was Executive Produced by Whoopi Goldberg and also stars Garcelle Beauvais. She also appeared in Netflix’s The Midnight Club from acclaimed director, Mike Flanagan and producer Trevor Macy. Emma was seen also as the lead in Aliens Abducted My Parents and Now I Feel Kinda Left Out with Will Forte and Elizabeth Mitchell. The film premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. In her spare time Emma loves watching movies and hanging out with her friends and family. She resides in Vancouver, Canada.
