Produced by the Ministry of Public Education and the Department of Fine Arts and supervised by by archeologist Luis Castillo León, ethnologist Miguel O. de Mendizabal and the archeologist Enrique Juan Palacios. For us this is a particularly important film as it is the first film we know, produced in Mexico with a clear educational purpose. (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
