Pornografie, van eros tot megabyte

Until recently, pornography was a controversial subject. Especially in the seventies, the discussion flared up under the influence of the feminist movement. People were afraid of the harmful effect pornography might have on men, tersely summarized in the slogan 'pornography the theory, rape the practice'. Today, the issue is approached with more subtlety, the prohibition of pornography for people over eighteen has been lifted and computers offer new, interactive, pornographic possibilities. And yet the consumption of pornography is still taking place in the twilight zone of disclosure and shame. Pornography - From Eros to Megabyte deals with the discrepancy between on the one hand the legal and social acceptability of pornography and on the other hand the moral judgement.
