“Nadia Echazú” is a Cooperative School oriented to the textile industry where transvestites and transsexual persons work and get educated to get out from prostitution. Two years after its inauguration, the 30 original members became 60 people. So, the creation of other two cooperatives in the suburbs was encouraged. But more important, an alternative way was opened up to the usual dead end of marginalization. (Madrid International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival)
