In this film, the idea that fear of nuclear weapons is casting a dark shadow on the life of modern man, is presented by a counterpoint of image and sound. Scenes of carefree holiday crowds are set to sad and depressing music, while well-known popular songs give an ironic commentary to pictures of the horrors of concentration camps and atomic explosions. The film is intended as a protest against means of mass destruction. (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
