Phyllis leads a solitary existence. She works from home and keeps her social media presence active by posting pictures of her meals, which she also orders online. One afternoon, Em, a 20-something messenger delivers a package to Phyllis’ home. What begins as a simple exchange leads to something much deeper, as the two lives of these very different women intertwine. But, as conflicts arise, each woman realizes something about herself, and tangled knots of emotions unravel. Director Josh Peterson’s enthralling drama is about making real-world connections in the digital age of virtual friendship and about connecting with others in order to elevate our lives.
