Vietnam, 1972: Bei einem Einsatz der A6-Bomber kommt der Partner des Navy-Piloten Grafton ums Leben. Verzweifelt plant Grafton zusammen mit dem Draufgänger Cole eine Racheaktion: Gegen alle Befehle ihres Vorgesetzten Camparelli bombardieren die beiden ein nordvietnamesisches Waffenlager und landen schließlich vor dem Kriegsgericht. Doch die Piloten werden freigesprochen, denn Präsident Nixon hat inzwischen die Bombardierung Hanois angeordnet. (kabel eins)

A very uninteresting action film that tells the story of naval fighter pilots during the Vietnam War. But their joys and sorrows are portrayed in a rather unexciting and monotonous manner, very flat and without any attempt to delve into the details or give the characters a bit more depth. The action scenes are bad, so there’s nothing to praise there either. The most shocking thing is the ridiculously obvious miniatures. No, this is not Top Gun.
