Isabelle, 60, is a French astrophysicist who works and lives in Italy. During a visit to a hospital, she meets Davide, a young victim of a hit- and-run accident that killed his sister. Isabelle and Davide become friends and continue to see each other after Davide is discharged. But Isabelle hides a guilty secret: her son, Jérome, caused the accident that fateful night, before fleeing to France. (Montreal World Film Festival)
