Karsten og Petra på skattejakt

Karsten is spending his summer holiday with Petra’s family in southern Norway. Karsten and Petra have fun swimming, collecting sea shells, building sand castles, flying kites, fishing crabs and gutting fish. On the beach, they find a box that grandpa buried when he was a kid, with his best friend Alfred, who he hasn't seen in 65 years. It’s a time capsule with lots of old strange things and a mysterious riddle. This is the start of an exciting treasure hunt for Karsten and Petra! They will learn about the people who live on the island and how life used to be in the old days. The treasure hunt ultimately leads them to a huge surprise and the children learn that the most precious treasure of all is friendship. (Norsk Filminstitutt)
