The Cry (2018)

Englisch When I started watching this mini-series, I thought it would be about something completely different and I was afraid of yet another sob story. But I soon realized that the British were not Americans for whom pathos is of utmost priority, and I was able to have a great time watching a series in which drama turns into a thriller imbued with cold cynicism in the second half. I think this was an excellent series, but bear in mind that it was also because I enjoyed watching Jenna Coleman, who was perfect for the role. ()

Episode 1 (2018) (E01)

Englisch I'll admit, the opening episode of this miniseries felt pretty chaotic. The plot jumped around like a hyperactive flea, with flashbacks within flashbacks that left me feeling a bit bewildered. But you know what? After a while, I found myself getting into the groove and actually enjoying the story. And let's not forget about Jenna Coleman who really brought something special to the screen. ()

Episode 2 (2018) (E02)

Englisch The initial chaos gave way to a steady and engaging plot. I couldn't find a single reason to lower the rating (not that I even tried). Once again, Jenna Coleman's performance was stellar, but what really stood out was the depth of the story. I was hooked from start to finish, never once feeling bored. ()

Episode 3 (2018) (E03)

Englisch The creators keep me on my toes, and I'm genuinely intrigued to see how the final episode will unfold, especially after the verdict dropped in the third episode. The story has taken a fantastic twist, blending a healthy dose of cynicism with melancholic drama, and I found myself chuckling happily at times. ()

Episode 4 (2018) (E04)

Englisch After seeing how the story unfolded, I was a bit apprehensive about the finale, but I'm thrilled to say my worries were totally unfounded. The creators delivered another captivating plot that had me hooked from start to finish. ()
