Auf den Großen Antillen leben kleine, bunte Echsen, die nicht nur Urlaubern, sondern auch Evolutionsforschern große Freude bereiten: die Anolis oder Saumfinger-Echsen. Auf den verschiedenen Inseln gibt es sehr ähnliche Arten. Ein Team um Anolis-Forscher Jonathan Losos ist den kleinen Leguanen auf die Spur gekommen und sucht nach den Gründen und Besonderheiten ihrer Anpassung. (arte)
