Trulichka

Portrait of a Latvian village near the Russian border that is mainly inhabited by old people. They long back to the Soviet era, with its open borders and without unemployment. They can no longer visit their families in Russia without a visa, not even for a funeral. The few young people that still live here are moving away. (Nederlands Film Festival)
