Here We Are

Andy, an unambitious but talented young writer stuck in Slackerdom USA, is looking to get away, to strike out on his own and see what else his life and this great country has to offer. With a broken down RV and a growing debt to his older brother, this seems like just another thing that probably wont happen. Until he hears about a way to make some long money fast as a human lab rat at Medico, a pharmaceutical testing facility on the outskirts of town. There he finds Misty, a vibrant and mysterious human being with whom he shares a true connection. However, both he and Misty's pasts and personal fears threaten to wreck a good thing before it even begins. (Austin Film Festival)
