Adapted from the weekly magazine columns written by Kohan Kawauchi, "Suicide Squad - My Brothers in Arms" focuses on how WWII affected the innocent mindsets of Japanese youth. In 1942, the tides of war turn against Japan. The Student Mobilization Policy is in order. Shinkichi (Ryotaro Sugi) worked at a munition factory and had witnessed many of his friends volunteer themselves to war. When he receives news that his father died in service, he decides to follow his friends lead. Shinkichi joins the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service. (Nikkatsu)
