Weil er einen unsinnigen Befehl nicht ausführen will, fliegt der talentierte junge Pilot Alexey aus der Armee. Mit seiner sehr direkten Art ist er auch bei den Kollegen im neuen Job bei einer zivilen Fluglinie nicht sonderlich beliebt. Doch als die Crew auf einem Flug einen dringenden Notruf erhält, muss sie auf Gedeih und Verderb zusammenhalten. (TELE 5)

After a long time a solid disaster flick and this time from Russia. The first hour is rather introductory, but thanks to the very likeable actors and the theme of planes and pilots I was more or less always alert and interested, and once the volcano erupts there is no shortage of suspense until the end. Brilliantly shot, obviously a Russian blockbuster. The passage where they had to move the passengers from one plane to another in mid-air belongs to the highlights of the film. I recommend it. 80%.
