Dryads - Girls Don't Cry

15-year-old Hilde sings in the choir, is into photography and appears to be good and incorruptible all-around. Hilde and her family get a new neighbour, Henriette, who is like a wicked version of Pippi Longstocking. Henriette's own personal "Villa Villekulla" is frequented by bohemian types, and it seems as though the party never stops there. Henriette herself seems like a charismatic and interesting person whose gang Hilde would like to be a part of. So she discards her old idols and starts taking in new influences. However, when she gets to know her new neighbour better, Hilde discovers what a fickle and almost narcissistic person Henriette really is. Hilde is forced to reconsider her relationship with her new role model. (Oulu International Children's and Youth Film Festival)
