Natasha is a middle-aged admin employee at a zoo where her female co-workers take pleasure in making fun of her. She lives with her God-fearing mother and leads a dull existence without prospects, until one day she grows a tail. Aus diesem gliedrigen etwas vermag Tverdovskiy gar nichts herauszusaugen. Im Grunde genommen haben wir es hier mit einer Idee für einen Kurzfilm zu tun, wobei die Spielfilmlänge ratlos und retardiert wirkt. Wer sich das auf eine radikale Metapher Russlands oder eine provokativen Betrachtung der Sexualität einer alten Jungfrau gefreut hat, bekommt lediglich wenige Szenen zu sehen, welche an einen Gassenhauer nahe herankommen. Da habe ich mehr erwartet. #kviff2016

Well... I accept that this movie is trying to convey some sort of idea. I just think that some ideas should stay ideas and do not necessarily need to be filmed. The film appears quite interesting and unique, but on the other hand I had trouble trying to ignore how stupid this movie is and just watching the metaphor.
