Six-year-old Terra travels around the countries of the former Yugoslavia together with her mother, who is also the director of the film. On the way she meets inspirational people whose lives have been deeply affected by the historical borders between the states. Terra reflects on her experiences and conversations through her musings and childish drawings, which underline the film narrative like a colourful animation. We follow her interpretation of the world with humility and keen interest. Issues of nationality, politics, history and environment are seen through the eyes of a little girl, who on occasion becomes our teacher and adviser. This intimate conversation between the director and her daughter is a non-traditional fairy tale about the place from where they come. (One World)
