Ten-year-old Giovanni has an unusual dream: He wants to be the first boy to participate in the synchronised swimming championship. But one look at the flawless style and execution of the synchronised swimmers that he's up against tells him that he has definitely got his work cut out for him. It's only four weeks to the trials so he devotes every spare moment to training. Even though his classmates laugh at him for doing a girls' sport, he never considers giving up his dream. A source of support is his best friend Kim who, unlike her classmates, believes Giovanni can do it. (One World)
