Martin Clunes & a Lion Called Mugie

Actor Martin Clunes first met conservationist Tony Fitzjohn, after he travelled to East Africa fifteen years ago to release an elephant into the wild. Now he is returning to help with the rehabilitation of orphaned lion cubs who have lost their parents at the hands of poachers. Three decades ago, Tony worked with George Adamson in rehabilitating lion cubs – a legendary story that inspired the world famous film 'Born Free'. Since then, Tony has continued to work in the field and has rebuilt George's lion cub camp. With the help of Martin, they must eat, sleep and walk with these magnificent creatures, in the hope that they can return them to the wild as full-fledged, healthy adults. (Verleiher-Text)
