The Possibilities Are Endless

Underwater vistas, rustling treetops, the curves of ancient rock layers ... Atmospheric images mingle with gentle instrumental music and break through the sound of stammered words. We enter the rediscovered memory of legendary Scottish musician Edwyn Collins. Two massive strokes have stolen his memories and ability to walk, talk, paint and play the guitar. But the film gradually reveals fragments of a lived life that bring Edwyn back to consciousness, in no small part thanks to his wife, Grace. Edwyn thus comes to fulfil the meaning of the first words he uttered upon waking from his coma: "The possibilities are endless". (One World)
