Le Temps des aveux

Cambodia in the 1970s. Ethnographer Francois Bizot is arrested by a group of the Khmer Rouge on suspicion of espionage during his research in Angkor Wat. He is imprisoned for four months, chained to a stake and mercilessly interrogated by Douch, the young supervisor of the penal camp. Although the two men could not be more different and the chasm between them seems insurmountable, fate brings them together once again.
