As a judge and a prosecutor, the retired Lieutenant JUDr. PhDr. Karel Vaš, CSc aided and abetted in the death of more than 20 innocent people and sent hundreds of others to face long years of imprisonment during the political show trials of the 50's. He agreed with the making of the film and in the documentary he uses perverted logic to explain why, for example, it was okay for General Heliodor Píka to be hanged, the result of the trial in which he acted simultaneously as the prosecutor and the judge.
