Englisch Pieces that have a chance to succeed only on TV, when there are ten minutes of commercials for every seven minutes of the movie, will also come to me. In such a case, the film can easily pay for itself. "The Mark" is apparently an action movie that can be considered a mix of several genres and several different stories. So first of all, we have the action plot. The hero is almost killed at the beginning, but he has a chip implanted in his body that can apparently change the world. Yes, the film reaches for fairly high levels. When Chad wakes up, he realizes that it's not a win and that he has to stick to the guy played by none other than Eric Roberts. He is a man who has a lot in common with the chip and was involved in its development. These two together board a plane for the main plot of the film. Of course, it's about the chip, but also about saving innocent people, not only on the plane. Scenes in the plane, when it enters turbulence or is uncontrollable, are not bad, but the movement of the plane only happens every now and then. Otherwise, you completely forget that you are on a plane. It is even stranger when suddenly there is an outdoor shot of the plane descending quite quickly, but then back to the cabin where everything is in perfect order. However, what we would like, this is a low-budget film, which is also evident in the actors and their performances. Eric Roberts is definitely not a guarantee of the film's quality. Just look at his filmography on IMDb, where he has more than 30 films in which he was supposed to act in 2013. This guy just takes everything, which is fine again because he is not picky like his more famous sister. Personally, I like these actors who act as much as possible, even though it's a pity that sometimes they do such terrible nonsense. "The Mark" is not complete rubbish, it tries to create some plot, some interesting story, but the dialogues and the interaction between the actors completely kill it. When it's supposed to get intense and the scene should be thrilling, the viewer knows how it will end and thus doesn't remain in suspense. There's not much you can do about it, it's just a straightforward film. But let's get back to what the film actually contains. So it's an action film, then there's an airborne heist, and finally, sci-fi. Yes, there are sci-fi elements here, but they remain unexplained. So you can look forward to the sequel called "The Mark: Redemption," where we'll meet all the great actors and finally probably find out what it's all about. Well, to be honest, we can easily find out from the trailer. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2013/02/now-is-good-stand-up-guys-bourne-30.html ()
