I'm Leaving on Wednesday

Somewhere in the Balkans, in a garden hidden by a large house, a story unfolds of a great love between two young women. Neither of them wishes to accept that their relationship might ever end. What happens, then, when one day fate takes an unexpected turn? Is it possible to part so suddenly from your beloved? This poetic movie, combining super 8 and HD images, takes a nostalgic look at a romantic relationship. It also attemps to discover how such a story remains etched in human memory and how profoundly it affects us. (Karlovy Vary International Film Festival)
