Michael Jacksons "Dangerous Tour" setzt auch heute noch die Messlatte für jeden Tourneekünstler hoch Sich mit der schon als ultimativ betrachteten "Bad Tour" selbst übertreffend, brauchte das gigantische Bühnenambiente aus 20 Riesentrucks und einem üppigen Arsenal an Personal nahezu drei Tage zum Aufbau - allein das ist schon für eine weltweite Gastspielreise mit 69 Konzertstationen und 3.5 Millionen zahlender Fans eine logistisch kostspielige Superlative. In addition to Michael Jackson being a fantastic singer and dancer, which this film (a concert recording) captures very well, I would also highlight the fact that it's actually a period documentation of the frenzy, where not only at Beatles' concerts but also at his, women and girls would faint. Those songs still have power and are still great, and the film captures the incredible crowd and its behavior very well.
