The Wedding March by Mendelssohn introduces a film that, through caricature, addresses serious family issues, namely the infl uence of everyday routine on matrimonial happiness. Julie is a loving wife, tirelessly caring about her husband Viktor. Her care goes without saying for him and he is busy reading a newspaper. And so one day Julia no longer resists to the fl attery of a young man appearing as if from nowhere in fairytale-like style. The delicatessens, originally meant to be for Viktor, end up in the stranger’s stomach. Victor is left alone, his place by the table given to the tiny man. Will it make Victor realize that a wife is more than a cook? (Anifilm)

Englisch I'm sad to say that in this less than a quarter-hour film there is more artistic courage and originality than in the whole production of Walt Disney's studio until the creation of this work, which resigns from any superficial attractiveness. It is an interesting variation on the theme of marital stereotypes in a society not yet affected by female emancipation. I get the feeling that in modern society, women also successfully contribute to the destruction of works. Overall impression: 75%. ()
