Three short stories about three different women. It’s Christmas time and each finds herself in a new life situation and environment which is far from an ideal backdrop to the Christmas holidays. In their own way, all three of them avoid the traditional Christmas idyll and fail to receive the thing that Christmas should be full of – love. Sona, a nurse at the Kramare Hospital, discovers the beauty of falling in love and, enchanted by a TV assistant, she is blinded by false illusions. Dasa, a waitress who runs away to a forgotten national park on Christmas Eve, seeks escape in the arms of another man. However, she is also seen by other eyes, less attractive, but which can see much more in her, and so she has to decide. Klara is in a relationship which not longer works. Her husband is looking for something other than love and fools who want to be loved. Here, somewhere in the heart of Europe, on Christmas Eve, Klara achieves reconciliation with her demon – the desire to love. (Verleiher-Text)
