The Search for John Gissing

In the corporate world, people are disposable and powers are easily transferable. No one knows this better than U.S. consultant Matthew Barnes (Mike Binder). When he heads to London with his wife (Janeane Garofalo), it's not only to give advice on an upcoming merger, it's also to get the lay of the land before he replaces London businessman John Gissing (Alan Rickman). Savvy to his predicament, Gissing puts the couple through a wringer of comic catastrophes intended to keep them from making the move.
