Balajthay Erzsi has a job as a teacher in the Hortobágy, a vast plain area west of Debrecen. The boarding-school of Debrecen is visited by foreign students. A memorial leaves are brought by Mac Percy, a pilot, from Pest, to be given to the students. A celebration takes place in the inn, where John takes a liking to Erzsi, to whom he returns by aeroplane later, but there is an accident. He is looked after by the Balajthy family. The two young people fall in love with each other. In the meantime, an investigation in underway in Rosenburg to find the missing Prince John. A search team of people incognito is sent to bring him back. John would like to marry Erzsi, but is forbidden by Prince Jeromos to do so. Finally, however, John and the Erzsi are allowed by their superiors to get married. (Verleiher-Text)
