Die Hendersons sind auf dem Rückweg nach Seattle. Nach dem Abenteuerurlaub in den Rocky Mountains hat es vor allem Familienoberhaupt George Henderson ziemlich eilig, schnellstmöglich in die Zivilisation zurückzukehren. Er fährt mit Bleifuß. Doch plötzlich läuft ein affenähnliches Wesen direkt vor den Wagen der Familie. Sohnemann Ernie als Comicexperte erkennt sofort, dass es sich bei dem zotteligen Ungeheuer um keinen Geringeren als den sagenumwobenen Waldmenschen „Bigfoot" handelt. (RTL II)
