I Love Budapest

Invited by Móni, Anikó, a young girl from the village, goes to the capital to start a new life. Móni, fashionable and self-assured, takes Anikó to the factory where she works, while at night they keep going out with Móni's friend Krisztián, who is always packed with money. Anikó fails to cope with the hard work she is expected to do. Móni's relations turn out to be shallow, they earn their high standard of living by irresponsible and illegal activities. Despondent and lonely, Anikó meets Miki, the security guard. The lad gets some well-paid job from Krisztián, but injured during the action, the instigators refuse to help him. Anikó flees with him in a car, and, when nearly caught by the police, they take off into the air. They are only to be reached by the anxious voice of Anikó's mother. (Budapest Film)
