In Südostasien hat der Diktator Bizon die Macht an sich gerissen. Er nimmt UN-Leute als Geiseln. Für die fordert er 20 Milliarden Dollar Lösegeld. Der Konflikt droht sich zu einem Weltkrieg auszuweiten, weshalb Colonel Guile ein Streetfighter-Team zusammenstellt. Zusammen mit seiner Truppe begibt er sich in die Schlacht gegen den Tyrann. Such craziness, which is not that bad in execution, even though one might think so based on the time of its creation. If there are any tricks, they are not nearly as bad as one might think. I quite like that it's such a crazy costume, where things go haywire and it actually turns out quite well. Nothing groundbreaking, but a nice hour and a half of entertainment, yes.

That's all I'll give it, even though my lustful eyes feasted on the ravishing Kylie. I could simply put on a clip with her and I wouldn’t have to watch this botched and boring Van Damme flick.

A cult-classic, though not exactly brilliant, it is one of the most famous films with Jean-Claude Van Damme. There isn't as much action as there should be and, on the contrary, there is an abundance of chatter. But the self-parody and several interesting references and winks occasionally make you smile, realising that they didn't take everything so seriously after all. Furthermore, towards the end, Van Damme showcases some great kicks and flips, so that's a small plus.
