De caballos y guitarras is a musical, but it is also a reflection on looking, on the attempt to get away from an anthropocentric gaze, and also on the act of looking itself in cinema. It is basically a horse movie, a film about a guitar concert for horses that took place in Bramante’s Tempietto in Rome: a true symbol of the ideas of window, perspective and reason that established a way of looking that has become hegemonic.
