Eher als um eine sinnvolle Kurzgeschichte mit einem Punkt handelt es sich um ein Showreel eines bekannten Maskenbildners, der seinem Portfolio einen soliden Monster-Make-up hinzufügen wollte. Schade, dass es alles so dunkel ist, sodass man die meiste Zeit einen Furz sieht.

Michael Fontaine is an experienced and incredibly talented special makeup effects artist, and this short film certainly showcases his skills in that area. However, his directorial abilities left me unimpressed, and I see no reason to wish for him to shoot a feature film. The film starts off with an intriguing premise about the fragile emotional bond between a human and a monster, but it fails to leave a lasting impact. The momentum quickly dissipates, lost in shaky camera work that stumbles through the dark corners of homeless encampments.
