Day and Night are frightened and suspicious of each other at first, and quickly get off on the wrong foot. But as they discover each other's unique qualities - and come to realize that each of them offers a different window onto the same world - the friendship helps both to gain a new perspective. Pixar constantly shows that animation can be pushed further, mainly thanks to the fact that they come up with great ideas. They give freedom to creators who have great ideas in their minds and then turn them into something as beautiful as "Day & Night". Here, it is shown how beautiful animation is when it is taken up by people with an idea. Some scenes here are truly unforgettable, and you will wonder about their beauty. And there is also a point, which is important for a short film.

An incredibly watchable short that deserves a quiet 15 minutes. The punchline may not be that interesting, but it's a feast for the eyes. And even Václav Havel was in it... what more do you need?
