In some scenes, Norman Wisdom drove me to madness just like he drove the characters, but the show maintained its humor, he kept doing his thing, and in the end, it worked. I can see that his movies are a lot about finding and losing jobs, only to return to them again. And yet, it's still quite distinct and entertaining.
