Fortuna

Fortuna is a neo-noir about a short time in the life of a newspaper writer named Cal Bonner. Cal lives in the small town of Fortuna, which he has always considered uneventful until he comes across the dead body of a local named Sam in the backseat of a car. Cal capitalizes on the mystery around Sam’s death by publishing articles about it in the town’s newspaper, but soon enough, he becomes obsessed with solving the case himself. (Nashville Film Festival)
