Sister, What Grows Where Land is Sick? is a powerful and critically acclaimed coming-of-age drama set in a small village in northern Norway where Eira (Keira LaHart) lives in the shadow of her brilliant and rebellious older sister Vera (Ruby Dagnall). Something is about to happen to Vera. To understand what, Eira starts reading her diary. She enters Vera's universe of intense light, glitter, mythology and a hope for a more beautiful world.
