Eine Geschichte über Freundschaft, Erwachsen werden und… Schwimmen! Die Kindheitsfreunde Haruka, Nagisa und Makoto treffen nach vielen Jahren erneut auf Rin, ein früheres Mitglied ihres Schwimmklubs. Nachdem Haruka von diesem in einem Wettkampf deutlich geschlagen wurde, machen sich die drei auf die Suche nach einem vierten Mitglied für den Iwatobi Schwimmklub, um Rin in einem offiziellen Wettkampf gegenübertreten zu können. It's just as gay as they say! I have absolutely no idea what it's like to watch it alone, but it passes a bit better with two or more people. Preferably if one of you is obsessed with the seiyuu and the other has hormones on the brain. So I don't know if it was the anime that was entertaining or just our comments. It's unpretentious, full of water, muscles, heat, and you can tell the animators were lazy as hell. I wouldn't say it's a straight up sports anime, it just happens to be set in a "swim club". This is exactly what you call low culture – consume it and buy something else. And the most popular character? The one who wasn't seen but had a few lines, the dude behind the counter at the restaurant where they went to eat before the race. I recommend it for entertainment’s sake.
