Aber Spaß beiseite, ich habe zwar die Hochzeit des Jahrhunderts gesehen, Blondi war auch dabei, aber Marina Kowaljowa ist wirklich die schlechteste Schauspielerin der Welt. Im Vergleich zu ihren KZ-Szenen bleibt selbst Werichs fliehender Göring ein unsterbliches und tapferes Idol. Und Stalin? Er hat nicht halb so oft geküsst wie Aljoscha und seine Männer. (17.12.2010)

With Uncle Stalin forever and never otherwise. At last somebody wasn’t afraid to film the truth about the fall of Berlin. Stalin must have felt incredibly self-conscious about how the filmmakers presented him like a god on the screen. But what can you do? It was his brilliant plan alone that brought about the defeat of Germany. But he is lucky that he has the fearless iron-founder Alyusha on his side (even the Chuck Norris cult fades into oblivion when faced with Alyusha’s heroism). Great acting performances. Just amazing. I must mention at least that scene when Goebbels hobbles in with good news: it’s such an acting masterpiece from all four actors on the screen. Oh, and Hitler should really wash his hair. He should look at flash Uncle Joseph for some tips. And just look how far it got him... (05.03.2008)
