In 1959, in the midst of Franco’s regime, the town of Escó was expropriated for the construction of a reservoir. Everyone left the town except the Guallar family, who refused to leave their house and cattle. Today, the brothers Félix, Baltasar and Evaristo Guallar are the only inhabitants. But his world is threatened again when they start building a highway. (Huesca International Film Festival)
