They are not on social media, do not have smartphones, and the pandemic has accelerated the shift of many social activities to the online space, which they watch with critical concern. Who are the people still living in 2021 without various digital conveniences, and what are their motivations? The medium-length documentary reflects a growing disenchantment with technological advancements, which until now have been seen as a given and unquestionable. In it, the individual characters explain their analogue attitudes—standing up for them despite the fact that they are often perceived by their surroundings as motile or belated. Barbara Johansson's documentary focuses on people who do not want to use digital technology and reject it as a necessary condition for functioning in society. (Academia Film Olomouc)
